Once again, the lack of planning and leadership on the part of Mayor Alan M. Webber and City Manager John Blair is leaving the City and it’s residents in a dangerous position when it comes to snow removal.
Public Works Regina Wheeler has disregarded maintenance of snow removal trucks and vehicles to the point than less than 50% of blowers, ATVs and trucks that are set aside for snow removal are operational. So the roads, sidewalks and parking lots won’t be cleared anytime soon.
Couple that with a failing transit system that has less than 40% of busses in operation, and lots of residents will be put in dangerous situations over the next few days.
