Mayor Alan M. Webber – How is it that a CFO who is responsible for a late Audit Report submission THREE YEARS IN A ROW hasn’t gotten fired and seen their whole career go down in flames?! This is completely unbelievable and beyond unacceptable. Where is the City Council??
I wonder if the audit firm complied with the 2021 audit rule shown in this photo?
The audit rule states that as soon as the audit firm is aware That circumstances exist that Will make an agency submit its audit report after the applicable due date they shall Notify the state auditor in writing.
Surely the audit firm knew that the cities on it would be late several months ago. Look at the dates listed on the letter from Maria McCoy. They aren’t talking a day or two late. They aren’t talking a week or two late. They are talking close to six months after the deadline!
Why does chief financial officer Mary McCoy still have a job? I guess it’s the Alan Webber way. – It doesn’t matter how incompetent you are, as long as you’re Anglo and you have plenty of money to give him! That’s all Webber really cares about.
Why hasn’t Hector Balderas taken action? Why hasn’t a criminal investigation begun?
